I’m nobody’s model of a great marathoner. I eat a pack of GU just before I
start a long run and then every 45-50 minutes after that (while running). Whatever you do, make sure you train the same way you do race day.

I noticed a while back that a different brand of gel (I don’t even remember which) upset my stomach. Figure that out ahead of race day.
