Yeah, lots of losing to BYU. I think most of it is due to "lifestyle" issues and
perception that BYU is uppity and "holier-than-thou" over WOW issues and just, in general. Drunken, carousing Cowboys and faithful church-going Mormons are opposing images.
The "Black 14" protests by Wyoming players against BYU in the 60s further accelerated the divide although the Black 14 and the Church have been working together a lot lately.
