Usually has a meal when I get home. I try to help when I can and if she has had a busy day we just do frozen nuggets or pizza. No big deal.

My wife has gotten the kids involved and slowly they have gone from minimal to no actual help to legitimately helping. My 13 and 11 year olds can cook simple meals by themselves for the entire family. Our 11 year old cooks a mean burger on the grill! Our 9, 6, and 4 year olds just help with little tasks. Again I help when I can but working 50-60 hours a week makes it hard and being recently called as a bishop has even further constrained my time. My kids being taught to help has made a world of difference.
