I could not agree more. I also grew up on a farm and I worked hard. I had 7 siblings who worked hard and my dad ran his own business in addition to working on our farm. Now I feel like asking for help with dinner in any capacity is an outrageous notion. I would not even dare ask my husband to help out with weekly meals. He has his job and I have mine. But it would be nice, if he cooked once in a while. Or at least gave me a break now and then.
