The person leaving is leaving for two reasons....more money or a better company that supports them. Not once has a company I left cared for criticism of what they could do better.

You read it wrong. Exit interviews are simple. Usually just a few questions.

The main reason most workers leave is bc they hate their boss or they love their boss and they are following their boss

Yes it goes both ways, and I try to do that. But many managers have the same issue. It's a human issue.
