Yea, I think there are a lot of souls on this planet that live a life that is void of joy because of circumstances that are beyond their control. My heart breaks for people who are disabled AND abused. For those, the love and mercy is there, but it won't really be felt by them till the next life. I really do believe that this life feels like forever to us, but once it's over it will have seemed like a moment. If that really is the case, the suffering for these kids will be compensated and they will have eternal happiness and comfort. The only thing we can do right now is keep putting one foot in front of the other and try to make each other's load a little bit lighter. You are a great parent.
