and marvel at the hope they maintain through the struggles. There are so many noble spirits guiding these kids, but I'm not one of them.

I'm sure it's my lack of spirituality, but I fail to see Father's love for a child who is doomed to a life of utter loneliness and a complete inability to ever connect with others in mortality.

I get that after this life, "grace shall be as the day." I also admit it's a blessing he has caring parents, which is better than the home we adopted him from, but he's never had a friend and I don't envision that happening.

It's tough to testify of joy and peace and light when everything feels so soul crushing, so props to those of you who manage to do so and strengthen the rest of us.
