I work with people from time to time with authentication issues.
Every once in a while, I need to log into something as them during troubleshooting.
when I do that, I either add a new authentication method to their account that I can manage or I temporarily change the phone number or or or something else.
We never ever ever ever ask for MFA codes from someone else because we preach in regular training to NEVER give anyone MFA codes over the phone.
I can't imagine a bank ever doing anything to cause a customer to believe it's okay to do that.
