Kalani was on that staff, and no one on that staff had ever taken a program from the G5 to the P5 before, it was all new to everyone, they didn’t know what to expect.
When BYU got the invite to the Big XII, they talked about how the experience of jumping from the MWC to the PAC12 was advantage. They talked about the importance of depth more than anything else. What they do? Kept recruiting projects.
Having Kalani on that Utah staff that transitioned to the PAC12 doesn’t appear to have been an advantage at all. Three years after being announced to the Big XII, BYU is stuffing their QB room with walk-on’s and G5 transfers.

Terrible idea instead just keep having bad seasons until his contracts over and put all the football dollars into MBB
