Not sure what you’re seeing, doesn’t matter how many times he steps back-and-for
forth with his left foot as long as his right (pivot) foot stays down and only pivots. Then when he begins his shot attempt, he steps one time to his left with his left foot, and his right foot comes off the floor, but does not touch the court before his shot is released. That never has and never will be traveling, that’s exactly how pivoting and then shooting-on the move is supposed to be.
