A player is allowed 2 steps. If his pivot foot is the 2nd step, you can't switch
to another pivot foot without it being a travel.
Did they change the rule allowing 3 steps? Not heard of that.

Jokic didn’t do either of those things though. He established his left foot as his pivot foot. He didn’t raise the pivot
