Would’ve been a terrible fit. Doubt he was a serious candidate
Husker fans would’ve been all over his every move, and the attention would’ve been smothering. An introvert like Bronco would not do well there
More importantly, Nebraska desperately needs to reestablish their recruiting prowess above everything. That is per Bronco’s own assessment, not his strength.
His oddities would’ve been mocked mercilessly.
Having lived there and gotten well acquainted with Husker nation, I can’t imagine them embracing Bronco. Hoping Matt Rhule can (finally) turn the tide.
