krindorr Intervention Needed
Yup, Utah was consistently around the middle of the PAC in PAC12 Network appearances

Really there were

  • 3 teams that were big TV draws (Oregon, USC, Washington) and
  • 4 that were weak TV draws (Oregon St, Arizona, Colorado, Cal) and then
  • 5 that were more or less in the middle (Utah, UCLA, Stanford, ASU, Wazzu)

The top teams rarely were stuck on P12 Network (aside form a game or two to show fairness).  The bottom 4 played tons of games there. And the middle got good slots or bad depending on their opponent

At this point, I view BYU and Utah as pretty similar in drawing power (or at least close enough to be in the same tier), but I'll admit that the timeslots BYU got this year have been REALLY impressive and are making me bump up my estimation of BYU drawing power. The TV Networks have better data than I do and generally make good decisions
