But here's the real unpopular opinion
The Big 12 is badly damaged and fighting for relevancy/attention. To the point that we need any and every team to draw better. Right now Utah is one of the bigger draws in the conference. And rivalry hate aside, it's important for BYU and the Big 12 to have more relevant teams in the conference.
The situation is poor enough that we should be hoping for a rising tide, regardless of who is bringing it
