We lived in Charles Town, WV and in the field near the main road there was a

herd of approximately 40-60 deer. It looked like a herd of cattle/sheep/et. I had never seen so many herding together, but there they were all the time. It was along the Shenandoah River in the Blue Ridge Mts near Harpers Ferry. Unbelievably beautiful.
