One report had him at 4.46 in the combine. In high school
he was timed at 10.6 100 M by the state of California. While in Provo he was recorded to have run multiple times of 4.3-4.4.
I get the recency bias. I also get the love for Luke Staley by so many on this board. I had a non-member coworker from Texas who had followed BYU & had mentioned that "it was nice seeing white boys scoring touchdowns for a change".
But Jenkins was elite. Go ask Norm Chow (and LaVell if he was alive). They coached both btw.

Tyler Algeier may be the best of the bunch of them- Faster than Jamaal and Harvey, as powerful as any, and durable.

Yes, saw him in person many times. I remember his run against Tulane when he split the two dbs like they were BYU dads.
