This really lacks perspective. The generation before me paid 15% interest on their mortgages, never went on vacation and
if they did it was a road trip to go camping somewhere, did drills at school for what to do if the Russians nuked us, and going to college was so expensive and exclusive that it was still considered a great achievement to get accepted to a school. If you went to a doctor, the list of prescriptions that existed to treat things was so short that every doctor had the entire list memorized. When my parents bought their first home, they couldn’t afford to furnish it for several years. Pictures of me as a baby are in empty rooms. And we were solid middle class.

But feel free to continue playing your violin about how hard Gen Z has it.
