My only complaint on the vidangel thing was always how they were cheating by not purchasing the right amount of licenses to edit the movies. If they have satisfied the legal requirements, let the prudes be prudes. Not for me, but fine.
How many people (myself included) essentially have stolen music for most of our lives?
This goes back to having a friend make a cassette for me off of an LP that they purchased. Totally stealing, but we all did it. Of course it reached it's peak at Napster but lots of "burn me a cd of that" going on right up until these streaming platforms came out. Best thing that ever happened for my conscience is Spotify. I pay a monthly fee and have access to pretty much all music, legally.
