Yeah, his example is backward. You can cut up a painting or book you own.
Why can't you dice up a video you purchased? It's the same thing. And the law recognizes that, which is why Clearplay has ALWAYS been legal. VidAngel now is too. It was just VidAngel's previous model that was problematic.
