In your story of the book, once I buy it I can modify as I wish. Once I pay for Netflix there is no harm in removing
language from the file as it does not affect the original, it does not affect the studio, it does not affect the artist. In the end they make more money from those who would only watch clean versions.
I understand the legal point of the studio and artists, I just do not agree with it. It does not harm them one iota, does not modify their file permanently and thus causes no harm.
Personally, I have never used VidAngel as I believe as you stated, I watch what I believe is ok otherwise I do not watch it. But that does not mean I don't still believe in their right to do what they do.
