Those are kind of my takeaways too.
I didn't have a problem with what he did - he obviously wasn't out to hurt someone. And I didn't have a problem with the ejection - he did hit a guy in the head with his forearm.
If there hadn't already been some physical confrontations in the game, he might've gotten away with just the T. But since there'd been some chippy play in the game already, that's why I wasn't surprised he was tossed.
