For every guy that "makes it" and graduates on D1 scholarship, there are 10 more
just like them that didn't. The reasons vary, but the outcome is the same. And, even the guys that do "make it" are overwhelmingly in the same position just a year or two later - basketball career over, and their entire life still in front of them.
He seems like he's in a good place and set up for success.
