My wife loves her Glock 9mm.40 Compact
It's light and weighs only 1 pound and it weighs only 1 pound. A 22 is only good for target practice. Not for personal defense.
I have a Colt 45 auto Gold Cup and a 357 mag Smith and Wesson. Both will stop a horse dead in its tracks.
The wife should join a gun club and do target practice regularly or else she shouldn't bother to buy a handgun.
