100%. I think his contract with the USFL was the biggest ever at the time wasn’t it? Bigger than any in the NFL? Easy to
see why he chose that without the benefit of hindsight we have now.
Even then, it’s hard to say that his career would have been better if he had chosen differently. We can’t know, and he ended up learning from the GOAT at the time and came into an amazing team.
He went on a few dates with my friend’s big sister so I got to be around him just a few minutes, but such an open and good dude to a little kid.
Has to be one of if not the best sports ambassadors the school and church has ever had.

That’s probably why you’re not an analyst. Evaluating a player’s talent is more than just looking at wins and losses.
