Yes. He chose that over Legacy and once you make that choice it is made. I love
what ZW did last season even with the pathetic schedule, but, Legacy requires sacrifice and paying your dues.
When he wins a couple of Super Bowl Rings as a starter - maybe he belongs in the same photo with McMahon, Young, Detmer, and Bosco - somewhere behind those guys that put Hardware in the Trophy Cases and were around long enough to give us The Miracle Bowl, Holiday Bowl, Heisman, and NC wins over Big name opponents.
ZW belongs right in the mix with Scheide, Nielsen, M Wilson, Sark, Doman, Max Hall, Beck, Taysom Hill. Maybe right at the top of that group.
2021 had Legacy opportunity written all over it. If his leadership kept the team together for a return performance - that could have proven some things. He left that on the table.
Beat Utah like the others, go undefeated like Bosco and win NC, Heisman like Detmer. That would make him #1.
