Used ours a ton when kids were small then not much in middle yrs. Now we’re thinking
Of growing old and that it might feel good on our old bones & muscles. We’ll get a nice jetted one & for those who think the hoses get moldy & gross, it’s an easy fix.
Leave water in when you get out & add some dishwasher detergent & a cup of vinegar. Then run the jets for a few minutes while you’re getting dress. Voy-lah! If it cleans well enough to eat off your dishes, it will do your tub too. I was told that by plumber when building our first house with one & have done it ever since. Works great.

Anyone have or put in a master bath where the tub & shower are combined in one "wet room" like this?

We’re considering doing the same thing. We have a giant jetted tub now and a tiny shower and I hate it.

We would use larger tile (12x24 at least) & maybe a drop in tub w/ platform (easier for short old people to get in).
