I don't think we should so readily discount "worthless" liberal arts degrees.

The world needs English teachers and history teachers. But yeah, you shouldn't take a loan for $200,000 to get a degree that leads to a job that pays $45,000/year.

I'm all for getting a degree that is "marketable." I personally have two international relations degrees and have a job where the degree is mostly irrelevant.
