I tend to think it’s the BYU AD that feels this way...

They complain about not being able to compete or pay market rates for coaches yet run a $10.5M budget surplus ($5.5M per year average for several years prior).

Thus BYU fan would LOVE to see BYU invest and spend like it wants a top notch AD (which it really already has despite some mediocrity in the major sports).

I think it’s part of going to the school.. my fees also help pay for the arts
