what if you left the name off the jersey?
then you just have a figurine in a #45 jersey and a helmet.
if you are a BYU player you can "buy your number"...and they'll put your name on a plaque with every other player who wore that number and paid for it.
using the name "harvey unga" is for search engine purposes, but could you "prove" it was havey unga circa '07-'09 or say kyle van noy circa '10 ..and then you get into the realm of whether or not google's entire business model is a misuse of possible trademark terms.
of course if you do this professionally...you should know this already.
