My wife takes off once or twice a year to visit her "daughter" who is away
at BYUI.
It's really not her daughter, but a girl that she met while she was in the YWs and who later joined the church (only one in her family to do so). This young lady's mom has yet to ever accompany her when she goes off to school in the fall, nor has she ever gone to visit her while she's away. Hence, my wife has had to be the one to take her to school each fall, and then visits her once or twice during the school year since the girl's own mother won't take the time and effort to visit her. If my didn't go to visit her this young lady wouldn't have any visitors.
