You forgot to mention the SIGNIFICANT MSRP jump from the 3rd gen to the current
gen. I love the CTS, don't get me wrong, but it is way overpriced (just like the 5 series). A wealthy man's car to be sure.

For the working man?

The soon-to-be-released Chevy SS all the way. V8 RWD performance without the Caddy price tag.

Also, anti-GM-ites, check out the new Impala. My dad just bought a fully loaded 2014. It's essentially the Caddy XTS without AWD and the touch screen. Other than that, it's exactly the same all the way to the leather wrapped interior. Plus it's over $15-20k less too boot.

GM has always been inching upwards in the quality department from their epic bottom-dwelling days in the late 70s, but they have made a quantum leap lately. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a GM product these days. In fact, I even picked up a 2011 truck myself..
