A trap game is when a good team uncharacteristically struggles against an inferior opponent because they are overlooking
a good opponent the week after.
BYU can’t call their struggles trap games. First, we have had three bad performances against inferior teams, which means it isn’t uncharacteristic. On top of that, there isn’t a team we were looking ahead of when we struggled.
Oklahoma State: 38-35
@ UCF: 37-24
@ Utah: 22-21
Kansas: 17-13
Which game exactly were we looking ahead at? UCF?
