That’s what it looked like. Also appeared to be open bc h2o spilled out before..
…and as it drilled her in her face.
I’ve been hit in the head by a foul ball at a little league game (in Lehi at Vets). Gave me a concussion with medium-term impact. I’d imagine even a semi-full water bottle has at least the same force of impact as a little league baseball. In which case, I’d imagine she suffered at least a moderate concussion. That I think would necessitate some kind of settlement with the perpetrator’s insurance provider.
Yet, I also agree that criminally punishing an 18-year old is not palatable.
