The final iteration doesn’t include FSU and Clemson. It might include a group after those two and UNC. If the Big12 feels they are in competition with the ACC and they want to kill them, I see no need to pay all this money for a rental. Target schools willing to sign up long term. If they are worth it financially, go get them. If they aren’t, wait for the conference to die naturally or at the hands of FSU and Clemson.
