Sounds like you worked hard and dedicated most of your early life to work and took some big risks. And it sounds like it paid off for you. I understand and respect that. I did something similar and I have a great paying job with amazing benefits. I have no room to complain.
But there are also people that did that and their life is ruined. Broken families, suicides, depression, etc. Your risk tolerance and luck isn’t the same as everyone else. For the better and for the worse. Just try to understand where they are coming from.
We can’t expect everyone to be entrepreneurs either. We need teachers, nurses, large corporations for efficiency and scale, government jobs, the military, etc.
