market is flooded with drop shipping, social influencers, pod casts, etc. I wonder why everyone doesn’t do it if it’s that lucrative and simple. Reality is competition for businesses like you mentioned is huge. In most cases those quick and easy business models are worthless and fail in the short term.

This is like those easy profit real estate programs that were a bust in the 90’s. You pay to “educate” yourself on a simple real estate program. Anyone can start with no money down, it’s impossible not to make money. Anyone can do it! It’s similar to those posters on the street lights that say “real estate assistant, $250k+ pay”

Sound familiar?

A great saying that is solid business and investment advice: If it sounds too good to be true, then it usually is. - Anyone who got scammed.

All one has to do is look at the low rate of single income households, a luxury that the majority of future generations might not experience.

And the reason for that is understandable: housing, health care, and education costs have skyrocketed. Far outpacing inflation and the median household income. And that includes dual incomes.

Currently credit card debt is at a historic high, student loan debt is larger than credit card debt, and the median household income to median home price has never been worse. Home affordability is at an all time low.

It’s not like it’s impossible to get a solid job right now, the job market has been red hot with inflation. But salaries are severely lagging the costs I mentioned. With that said hard work and frugality are key principles to be successful at any point or time. But it’s rough right now for a lot of people.

Its also an all time high for the wealth gap in this country. Check out the documentary “Economic machine” by Ray Dalio. It’s great. Basically the poor are getting poorer, sooner or later they start to want to “eat the rich”. Remember that trend?

Inflation hits the poor the hardest as well. It’s partly fueling the increased social unrest and crime rates. It’s not easy for a lot of people right now.
