When it comes right down to it, a vast number of baby boomers sat back and did nothing. Many never voted. My own parents admitted to not voting until recently. Bills in Washington just became longer and longer until nobody had time to even read them before voting on them. Did the baby boomers vote their representatives out, protest, or do anything to curtail the ridiculousness of our government? No. They just kept not voting or voting for the same terrible leaders.

WE are $31 trillion in debt, but that number doesn't include or unfunded debt obligations. When you include that, you're looking at closer to $300 trillion. They feel no need to fix our financial situation because other countries are even worse off. 

In 1985 social security was changed to start building up the fund for the baby boomers instead of simply paying for the currently-retired generations. The baby boomers sat back and let their politicians essentially steal from their retirement for... what?
