Other things that are big advantages now are the internet boom and social media
Free education abounds on YouTube on thousands of subjects and a person can self learn, and become good, at so many things now with practice and free on discount info on YouTube or skillshare. That’s truly amazing.
Starting a business is so much easier - we all have a free video and publishing platform to take our message to the world with YouTube,TikTok, Instagram, etc., there is literally no barrier to an American doing that today.
And any of us could literally have a business launched within just a few hours with the ease of the internet, have that business accepting payment through PayPal or other platforms, have marketing with ppc, a cheap 800 number, auto responders, etc. all that stuff would have taken soooo much time and huge amounts of money and now high school kids can do it with less than $200 — and they don’t even have to being paying rent on a physical building. Back in the day people had to get loans to even start a business and now my teens can with just a few dollars.
It’s an amazing time to be alive in my mind - making money has never been faster or easier or with fewer barriers to success.
