Median household income adjusted for inflation has gone up almost 30% since the 1985. But your complaining that housing, healthcare and education have increased more than inflation, but don’t mention all the things that have not kept pace with inflation…which…wait for it…balances those categories that outpaced inflation, because that’s how inflation is calculated. Then when we just measure how much stuff people have, today they have 30% more stuff than they did in the eighties.

Minimum wage not increasing? This is a red flag for someone not knowing what they are talking about. Imagine how awesome everything would be if minimum wage was $1million an hour! Surely that would be a great indicator of economic prosperity! Or we’d all be unemployed and become subsistence farmers! But ooh boy, minimum wages would be fantastic!
