Uh. You know the BCS was temporary right? Success only in the BCS=flash in pan
BCS this, BCS that. You had a few good years in a flawed, temporary system. Funny how the PAC10, as a sports conference, didn't actually mention much about the yewts sports programs as being the reason for inclusion of the Ewe over BYU.
Oh right. Because they were a flash in the pan. And other factors like eyeballs and revenue and potential for botb mattered more, but BYU had those. So the truth sorta came out when they stated it was a "culture" issue.
Uh. Have you seen yewt culture? I have. It's basically just anti-BYU, although a significant portion is just anti-LDS and using BYU as a proxy.
The culture statement was an obviously just saying they don't want a religion that they didn't like.
Other evidence? They soon removed that reason and replaced it with "research institution" garbage. Research institutions aren't an actual designation and have nothing to do with academic performance, let alone SPORTS revenue.
