BYU has always been about finding diamonds in the rough and turning them into good players. 4 star players and above flop more often than not. That being said, you have to have some recruiting balance and have a steady stream of upperclassmen coming. Kalani didn't inherit much in the way of developed upperclassmen. I don't see how anyone could argue against that considering who is playing.
