I’m not a doctor nor a trainer, but I’m active and only slightly younger than
you and stretching makes a huge difference for me. I’m shocked at how I feel when I’m regularly stretching versus when I’m not. This is just me, of course, but I only take about 10 minutes to do it. I focus on my back, hamstrings, and hips. Those are the places that for me I get the most mileage.
