Coaches are as good as their players which is why coaches look like wizards with some QBs and then look “awful” with
other QBs. College and pro football are full of endless examples.
You don’t “develop” a QB — you hope that you recruit and or acquire a good QB so that you look good as a coach. If your recruit or player you acquire doesn’t end up panning out — it doesn’t mean the coach is terrible either.
