Have you looked at possible legitimate alternatives to help her find a way to start making money?

It sounds like she's holding onto this because she feels like it's her only option. Have you looked at getting her started with any kind of schooling or online training? I think she's scared.

I'm sorry to hear about the cancer. This is an all around tough situation.
