I ran into one last year at the SLC airport on a Friday.. He was headed to Texas to pick up a dog (showing no signs of injury) while the team was headed to an away game.

I asked a different position coach about it a few weeks later and he confirmed that the kid was just cashing his NIL checks and doing his own thing.
