What does Hill gain by going to Utah if the money is the same?

Scalley will become the head coach at Utah, that is a guarantee -> Jay Hill has a much better chance at becoming the head coach at BYU (pending on KS) or another P4 vs Utah.

The pay will be equal (BYU will be at full revenue in B12 next year).

If Hill can prove that he can turn a bad defense around it will open up more doors for him than D coordinator at Utah.

All signs point to Hill staying when Scalley gets the Utah HC job.
