Staley also split time with Fahu Tahi his freshman year or his stats would have been better. He pretty much came in as a freshman and immediately had an impact against Washington, Colorado State, and Virginia (that bogus holding call still bugs me!). Lee Corso said during the game this kid is going to the NFL after his first game! You could see he was special right away, but was injured the last few games of the season.
His Sophomore year he was hurt most of the year, however you could see a huge difference in the team’s performance when he was healthy.

Tyler Algeier may be the best of the bunch of them- Faster than Jamaal and Harvey, as powerful as any, and durable.

Yes, saw him in person many times. I remember his run against Tulane when he split the two dbs like they were BYU dads.
