I guarantee you that your first starter home price has outgrown the pace of household incomes.

And as for your son and his friends buying huge homes as they are getting started, sounds like bad financial decisions.
Kind of like when people were taking out huge loans and buying multiple houses in 2007.

So overall I am not sure what your point is...
