1) A place where the government got involved claiming to "help" people, but only making the problem worse. This is generally what happens, in my opinion. No way tuition, housing, or health insurance, and even automobiles are as expensive as they are today if the government hadn't inserted itself into the equation. Blame it on whoever you want for voting in the politicians, but recognize that every thing younger generations are asking the government to do will probably just magnify whatever problem voters are asking them to fix.
2) I don't begrudge Disney for raising their prices since they are a private business. But, just like automobiles and houses, it is difficult to compare features of vacations of 1972 vs. vacations in 2022. I am nowhere near old enough (and we certainly didn't have the money) to vacation at Disney in 1972. But I am quite certain there is way more to do there now than there was in 1972.
