Re: Cleaning. There are some great cleaning agents that you spray before or after use (specifically for a steam room) that will minimize buildup.

We would use larger tile (12x24 at least) & maybe a drop in tub w/ platform (easier for short old people to get in).

Without a wall between the shower & tub, both areas can share floor space and be bigger than it they are separate.
